IPRS in association with Music plus, proudly hosted an engaging panel discussion titled ‘Deconstructing Copyrights in the Music Industry’. This enlightening session aimed to create awareness about the significance and compliance of copyrights in order to sustain creativity and uphold the rich cultural heritage of our country.

At IPRS, we understand the indispensable role of being a Government Authorized Copyright Society, safeguarding the rights of music creators in India. We believe that copyright protection is crucial for fostering innovation, encouraging creativity, and ensuring fair compensation for artists.

The esteemed panelists of this session included luminaries from the industry who shared their expertise and insights. Ameet Datta, Regulatory & Trade Compliance Counsel, brought valuable legal perspectives to the discussion. Atul Churamani, MD of Turnkey Music & Publishing Pvt. Ltd., shared his extensive knowledge and experience in the music industry. Lastly, we were honored to have the presence of Mr. Manoj Muntashir, a renowned lyricist and screenwriter, who added his unique perspective on the subject matter.
