Antakshari is the most popular musical game in India that needs no introduction. It has been bonding friends and families for ages. However, we rarely remember the creators whose lyrics and melodies have filled our moments with music & joy.
Hence this World Music Day on 21st June, The Indian Performing Right Society Ltd. is launching a unique initiative to pay tribute to the Creators of timeless songs through the game of music!
IPRS is conducting a 6-hour-long ‘Digital Antakshari’ to commemorate the Songwriters and Composers. For every song mentioned during the Digital Antakshari, IPRS would add the name of the Lyricist and Composer, acclaiming them for their creation.
To be a part of the event, the participants have to:
- Follow the IPRS Instagram handle.
- Every half an hour, the moderator will assign an alphabet to the participants via an Instagram story on the IPRS page.
- The participant must continue the game by sharing the lyrics of a song starting with the alphabet given by the moderator.
- The lyric can be shared by the participant, in the comments section of IPRS Antakshari post, or as a story on his/her account, tagging @iprsmusic
- The game will be live on IPRS Instagram Page (@iprsmusic) from 10 am to 4 pm on 21st June, 2022.
- 5 winners via lucky draw will be selected every hour
