Mr. Nitin Kothare
General Manager - Broadcast Licencing
I have completed 14 wonderful years with IPRS. It has been a continuous learning process. We have always been passionate about learning, improving and innovating. We are not afraid to make mistakes, as we learn from our challenges & successes. IPRS has made me what I am today, a rare breed of a Commercial Lawyer who now has a deep knowledge of Music Publishing, Copyright Music Business, Music Licensing and contract/commercial negotiation across TV. Radio, Internet/OTT/Streaming segment. My work comes with a lot of challenges, but it helps me work harder and smarter. When I overcome these challenges it makes my life more rewarding and satisfying During my 14 years at IPRS I have achieved so much personally as well as professionally that it is quite difficult for me to choose one, but certainly the most memorable moment of my professional life is the time when I was able to convince Sun, Network to sign an agreement for their 44 FM Radio Stations in one go.
Ravinder Pathak
General Manager - Broadcast Licencing
I have been working with IPRS for 22 months now. The culture and senior employees (by their tenure) have been integral contributors and strong pillars for the company all these years. There is a continuous learning process we come across in our daily work routines. In no way work is monotonous and there is continuous arc of learning that makes you feel happy & involved at work. IPRS has entrusted me with a very responsible line of its business and has given me a chance to lead one of the crucial roles that it represents on behalf of its member(s). This has eventually increased my work exposure and has been a keen contributor to my areas of experience. My favourite memory and accomplishment is signing up one of the biggest digital platforms prevailing in the industry and ensuring that our members get their long-awaited share of royalties due for their works getting exploited on that digital platform.
Bappaditya Das
Area Manager Kolkatta
I joined IPRS in the year 2009. I love working for IPRS, because through my work I can support innumerable authors and composers of music who are lost in obscurity. There is one beautiful story I would like share. One fine morning I was checking my mails at the office and a member came to collect his check. He was looking for my colleague who looks after the membership department. I asked him to sit and wait for a while till my colleague came back. While he was waiting, we started talking and I told him that we were the ones who collected royalties for our members. On hearing this he got emotional and blessed me. This memory still gives me immense pleasure and inspiration to excel in this organisation and work harder to achieve more in this organisation. The best feeling about working at IPRS is the respect we get from our clients because of the trust they have in us and our organisation. During my tenure of 11 years I have learned a lot and it has given me a chance to grow in my career. I joined as a licensing executive and grew to become an area manager. We work under a wonderful management team at IPRS who ensures that we as employees are always taken care of.
Sheetal D Madnani Raisinghani
Sr Manager - Legal & Distribution
I have almost completed 17 years at IPRS I started my journey in the documentation department and within a few months was trained and given additional responsibilities. I got a chance to work in all the departments and gain the international society experience. It's been 17 years and I have moved various verticals and learning has been credible. I feel extremely happy because I get to work in a collaborative, flexible and open culture environment. This creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. Sailing with the organisation in tough times, handling Challanges, complexity in work with limited work force always keeps me on the run to achieve higher goals. Today I am proud of the fact that I belong to such an esteemed organization where learning never stops. Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission of uplifting creators of music.
Neeraj Kumar Srivastava
Manager -Delhi
I have been working at IPRS since 2007 and have completed 13 yrs. The work culture that we share is open, our ideas and opinions are valued and we consider ourselves a family, but the most important thing is that IPRS offers its employees a secure and stable environment. The flexible work culture has always helped me in balancing my official life and personal life. The leadership team within the organisation has been able to instil deep trust and confidence amongst the team members. Working with a prestigious organization like IPRS has not helped to build my identity but has also shaped my career as a successful professional in my field of work. The most memorable day for me, was when IPRS got the Re - Registration Certificate which was granted by the Central Government of India. On the business front a memorable day for me was when our North Team received collected a royalty amount of Rs.50 Lakh through a single cheque for the opening ceremony event of the Common Wealth Games in the year 2010.
Ajay Bhaigade
Sr Operations Executive (Mumbai)
I joined IPRS in 1998 and have been working here for the last 22 Years. I have loved music since childhood and my love for music has only enhanced since I joined IPRS. I have got the opportunity to learn about the varied forms of music, the legalities and copyright norms involved with a creative piece of work and many more related to the Indian Music Industry. The most important facet about IPRS is that we stand for a cause protecting the rights of music creators. And it makes me proud to be contributing to such a cause. Everyday at IPRS has memorable for me, but I believe that my biggest achievement has been my journey as a support staff executive to a central operations role and today I can proudly say that my organisation has helped me hone my skills and provide me a platform to grow.
Ajay Srivastava
Manager - Accounts & Finance
I joined IPRS in 2007 and have been working here for the past 13 yrs. The thing that I like the most is that the organization cares for its employees and we are not just a number but a Family which trusts each other. We stand for a cause of recognizing the creators of music and for protecting their rights. IPRS has been a resilient organization and we have faced the biggest of challenges and moved on. I was very nervous, when I joined as an Account Executive in 2007, as it was a new industry for me with a task to understand its nuances. But today as I look back, it has be an exciting journey for me at IPRS, where I have learned quite a lot and have been aptly rewarded for my achievements. Today I am a Manager in the Finance and Accounts Department handling bigger responsibilities. On of my favourite memories at IPRS is the 50th anniversary celebration where we came together as one family, and it was proud moment for all of us to have successfully completed 50 long years in the music industry, through all the hard work and dedication of our employees.
Nilesh S Bhungavale
Office Assistant- Administration
I joined IPRS way back in 2004. I started working at the filing department, where our members works are maintained. Record management is a very critical part of CMO's functioning at IPRS. In my tenure, I learned the importance of this function and have ever since picked up major learnings and applied them to my area of work. Work has always been fun and my favourite memories include employee engagement activities and tournaments that are often conducted, where all employees come together to enjoy. IPRS has not only taught me a lot, but given me a family I can count on. We have had our ups and downs but we have always stood by each other and worked as a team. I am proud to be working with an organisation like IPRS that stands for such an important cause- protecting the rights of music creators.
Bhavin A Shah
Manager - Information & Technology
Way back in 2005 I joined as an Assistant IT Manager and have seen the Organisation grow. I was the only person in the IT department and today we have an entire team who looks after the Digital Transformation of IPRS. My journey has always been filled with memories and the work culture here is very open and encouraging. I enjoy being a part of this big family which embraces every one and nurtures us towards our individual growth. IPRS supports us and encourages us to learn and grow which helps us contribute to the community by providing our services to the members.
