By focusing on regional, folk, and emerging artists, IPRS Stage aims to spotlight exceptional talent from even the remotest corners of the country. This year, the Serendipity Arts Foundation and The Indian Performing Right Society Limited (IPRS) presents an extraordinary collaboration at the latest edition of Serendipity Arts Festival 2024 from 15th to 22nd December in Panjim, Goa.

Mythical Melodies

Tales of Music from Mythology or Unveiling the Origins of Indian Music and Sound, by Ulka Mayur explores the enchanting origins of Indian musical instruments through captivating narratives and evocative performances. In this one-hour journey, audience will discover the divine stories and sounds that shaped our rich musical heritage, blending mythology and melody into a mesmerizing experience.

 

Discovering India’s Hidden Melodies – A Musical Quest with Folks-Wagon

Folks-Wagon is an immersive musical project celebrating the rich and diverse tapestry of Indian folk music and its global counterparts. Founded and led by Madhur Padwal, a virtuoso who plays over 100 rare and authentic folk and traditional instruments from India and around the world, the project offers a unique auditory and visual experience.

DAIRA’s Jaadoo Bastar

Daira’s Jaadoo Bastar is a sublime portrayal of unique folk-fusion between members of Art-Rock band Daira and folk musicians of Bastar region in the state of Chhattisgarh. The concert features songs in Halbi, Bhatri and Gondi blended with Hindi lyrics.
