IPRS collaborated with Indiantelevision.com & Radioandmusic.com as the Community Partner for the 2nd Edition of the Clef Music Awards. The annual event is a celebration ceremony to honor and respect the musical accomplishments of songwriters, composers, musicians and those behind the music. The Clef Music Awards has emerged as a platform to showcase and boost talent and promote potential music creators and performers.

A global gateway into the Indian music market, All About Music has evolved over the years to become one of India’s biggest B2B conference dedicated to music, bringing together industry experts and stakeholders from every vertical of the music business.
In the 6th edition, All About Music paid tribute to the robust creator economy and its impact on the evolving Indian music industry.
The IPRS CEO Mr. Rakesh Nigam took the stage to address a critical topic on the growing role of copyright society in India. The session was packed with insights from the ever-expanding concept of creators’ rights, responsible music consumption, and sustainable music ecosystems.
Rumpa Banerjee, Head of the Department for Corporate Communication and Member Relations at IPRS along with Amit Dubey, Senior Manager – Documentation, led a workshop on “IPRS for Music Makers.” The session focused on the significant role of a Copyright Society in the creative journey of a songwriter, composer, and music publisher in the ever-growing music industry. The audience was educated on the importance of creators’ rights, the parameters and process of joining IPRS, how music copyright and royalties work and the importance of metadata in the digital world.
52nd Annual General Meeting of IPRS
Every milestone crossed is a spark of joy for us and we are truly grateful that after 2 long years, the IPRS community including our valued members, board of directors and IPRS team came together at ISKCON Juhu, Mumbai on the 15th of September 2022 for the 52nd Annual General Meeting. The coming together of everyone while sharing their thoughts & chalking the path to lead IPRS to greater heights was what made the event a great success.
