IPRS Associates with Project First Wave for GBM Songwriting Camps

IPRS is excited to announce its association with Project First Wave and Artisjus to bring you the GBM Songwriting Camps—an initiative that promotes Gender Balanced Music (GBM) with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusivity within production teams. At the core of this project lies the mission to amplify the voices of female and non-binary music producers in the music and entertainment sectors.

During these camps, participants will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with international teammates from diverse cultural backgrounds. Together, these international teams will create songs in accordance with predefined briefs from Schubert Music Library (SML). The ultimate goal is to shine a spotlight on the incredible talent within these teams, release the resulting tracks, and prominently feature them in the SML library. This endeavor showcases the richness of global musical collaboration while nurturing gender balance and inclusivity in the music industry.

To ensure dynamic and harmonious songwriting sessions, IPRS is actively seeking a diverse ensemble of passionate female/non-binary producers. Additionally, songwriters and vocalists of all genders, experienced in various musical styles, are warmly invited to join this exciting initiative.

The Songwriting Camps will explore a wide range of musical styles and genres, predominantly focusing on English lyrics. All sessions will be conducted online for cost efficiency, with English serving as the primary language of communication.
