IPRS Emergency Relief Fund

IPRS has released an Emergency Relief Fund for its members.

When life was slowly getting back to normal we are yet again in an unprecedented situation. The pandemic has suddenly created a situation of uncertainty and unforeseen challenges. We are cognizant of the fact that the creative community of music composers and authors has been hit once again with the advent of this second wave. To help our members in these difficult times, we at IPRS have sanctioned and released the IPRS Emergency Relief Fund. At IPRS it has been our constant endeavour to stand strong for our members and extend our support during times of difficulties and challenges.

We have made the fund available to IPRS members across the country. IPRS is offering this relief payout as a one-time grant of Rs.7500/- to each member, eligible for the claim.

The IPRS Emergency Relief Fund is open to those who:

  • Have been an IPRS Author member prior to 1st April 2020.

  • Have earned not more than Rs. 1 lac as royalties during the period Apr’20 to Mar’21.

The relief fund payout has already been transferred online to all the members eligible as per the above criteria. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria but have not received the grant mentioned above –

 Please note the above Relief Fund is a onetime special grant and will have no impact on the regular royalty payments to members. The entire IPRS team is focussed on processing and paying royalties to members as normal.
