We are thrilled to announce KOLAB – The Indo-Korean Music Collaboration Programme, a groundbreaking initiative that brings together some of the most talented music creators from India and South Korea. Organized by IPRS (Indian Performing Right Society) and KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association), this exciting 7-day songwriting residency offers a unique opportunity for collaboration, creativity, and cross-cultural exchange.
KOLAB is a 7-day residency programme designed to foster cultural and creative collaboration between South
Korean
and Indian music creators and independent artists. The residency will serve as a platform for co-creating
original music, blending musical traditions from both countries, and developing new songs that resonate with
global audiences.

This is more than just a residency—it’s an opportunity to work alongside some of the most dynamic talents from South Korea and India, while receiving expert mentorship from the renowned Bunty Bains, a leading figure in the Indian music industry. By participating, you’ll have the chance to:
- Collaborate with international artists on exciting new projects

- Showcase your music to industry professionals, including labels, publishers, and A&R representatives
at the listening session on the last day of the camp - Explore new musical possibilities, expand your creative horizons and create new sounds

2. Mentorship by Bunty Bains:
As the programme’s Creative Director, Bunty Bains will mentor and guide you throughout the songwriting process,
helping refine your work and encouraging innovative cross-cultural exchanges.
3. Talent Showcasing:
On the final day, your collaborative creations will be presented at a listening session attended by
industry professionals, labels, publishers, and A&R reps. This is a golden opportunity for your work to be picked
up for commercial opportunities.
4. Creative Exchange:
The residency offers a supportive environment where artists can take creative risks and experiment with new
sounds, resulting in fresh and exciting music.
5. Serendipity Festival Showcase
(Optional):
Selected songs from the residency may be showcased at the prestigious Serendipity Festival in December 2024,
offering further exposure to your work.
