Events @ IPRS

Taking ahead it’s considered quest for the holistic development of the music community generally and of its members in particular the IPRS is always looking to associate, host or support meaningful programs and seminars across the music landscape.

It was therefore only an extension of this thought that the IPRS partnered with one of India’s leading film making school Whistling Woods. The well received event “Music Marathon- The World Behind Music” held in October was punctuated with an array of workshops and master classes conceived specially to educate upcoming musical students and prodigal talent.

The event was testimony to our efforts at nurturing memorable future talents for the music industry. The 3-day event was a culmination of the coming together of noted music industry professionals, performers, experts and other proven entities in a concerted bid to enlighten and smoothen the pathway for music aspirants in the coming times.

Mental Health Day Event- 12th October- IPRS collaborated with Trijog to shed light on the emotional well-being of creators- World Mental Health Day Ø IPRS conducted a session on Mental Health for Music creators to highlight the unique challenges faced by musicians, such as the constant creative pressures and the anxiety surrounding song releases. Ø Through this, we successfully addressed the stigma surrounding the sensitive subject of mental health and fostered authentic, open-hearted discussions with our members. This initiative was dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of music creators. Acknowledging the distinctive challenges musicians faced, such as creative pressures and the anxiety linked to releasing songs, our objective was to motivate artists to make their mental health a top priority, enabling them to excel in the music industry. We hosted a Zoom session for musicians, with the goal of motivating them to not just survive but thrive in the music industry. We encouraged them to take active steps to enhance their mental well-being and foster a positive outlook At IPRS, we firmly believe that mental health is the cornerstone of success in any profession, especially one as creatively demanding as music. Our commitment to the well-being of our members goes hand in hand with our dedication to their artistic growth. We stand with our members every step of the way, ensuring they have the support and resources to navigate the music industry successfully, all while prioritizing their mental health.
